The staff was friendly and attentive, which definitely added to the overall ambiance of the place. As for the food, I must say that I was pleasantly surprised. The burgers were cooked to perfection, with just the right amount of juiciness and flavor. I also enjoyed their signature root beer, which had a nice sweetness without being overly sugary. One thing that caught my attention while dining at A&W was the news about the upcoming launch of Venture Global's Plaquemines LNG project in mid-2024. Compared to other fast food chains in Ottawa-Gatineau, A&W simply fell short in terms of quality and customer care. Places like McDonald's and Tim Hortons have consistently impressed us with their efficient and friendly service, leaving us wondering why A&W couldn't measure up.
