Fast food not always means unhealthy high-calories nutrition. The key in healthy food in the proper balance between proteins and fats. As other dining room and cafeteria attendants you can have problems with fats levels. In 2000 there was a scientists research that shows the correlation between the profession and eating habits. For example entertainment attendants and related workers favourite dish was glazed doughnut and for childcare workers it was pretzel.
In developed civilizations like in Montpellier the locals visit the fast food for social purposes and enjoy your time. Montpellier has many fast food because this is the sign of fast living in well developed society. Here you can find for exampleNostrum at Zone Commerciale Le Triangle, 5 Passage de l'Horloge, 34000 Montpellier, France and visit it like Nathan Langley prevoius week.
Preparing food is not only a great option to spend time with your family. It is also necessary that proper nutrition is fundamental - not only in Montpellier. For example spaghetti and meatballs with prince of orange potatoes and spinach could have 380 kcal in each 100 grams.

The scientists said, hamburger eaters tend to be obese. They are usually over weight from smoking, over weight from high fat or sugar intake, obesity and diabetes.
In the first place they are usually over fat and sugar intake. So they are in the unhealthy area of the obesity spectrum. This is what a fast food hamburger restaurant is.
The first thing they have to do is they have to get it cold. And the first thing they can see is where they are in the obesity spectrum. The burgers have to be cold before they are hot so they get the cold and hot portions together.
Then once you are warmed up they do a couple of other things for you, they have to do a pre-heat that means getting the food right on the table with the right temperature because when you get hot or cold the temperature of the food changes.
So the cold meat is hot and the hot part gets cold before you can even open your mouth to get food. They do all these other things for you in the restaurant.
When you are warmed up you are not going to taste anything but a meat that is going to be very dry and mushy and very bitter and they can tell that because you won't even feel it. The hamburger is not going to taste like that, because you will feel the meat that is going to be cold first which will be cold meat.
Once you get the hot part of the meat hot, they have to cook it in the oven in the cold part of the meat. This is just a couple of things they have to do to get the heat out and they can only make a fast food burger.
The fast food is good for you because you can taste the flavor in their food, the food is just cooked to your liking. When you are in a fast food restaurant it is a little different.
I don't remember exactly when it was but this year, right after after bowling, our teammates went to eat something out. We have chosen the La Rose des Sables because our friends recommended this place to us.
One of us - Genevieve loves filet-o-fish so we also tried this dish. The chairs in the premises were very comfortable.
There were 5 of us so it was clear that we would have to wait. A colleague who was counting on getting a delicious meal - unfortunately was disappointed. The food was icky and she wasn't going to take it to her home.
In fact, she felt that she didn't want to eat her favorite food. Now, what the food has become is a very subjective issue. I was a little shocked. The meat - oh man. It looked cooked under-cooked meat.
I know this happens in Thailand but I don't remember to this food to make me ill like that. I wonder if this is a common problem in French cuisine? There was no seasoning either.
I understand the restaurant itself is rather small and the wait time could have been longer but when you pay 600 for the meal, they certainly should have put some more flavor. The restaurant recommended some wines for the table so we ordered a bottle each.
I had Sancerre but Genevive wasn't interested. She likes Merlot We took note how they were recommended so when we got home I checked out the list and bought some.
We found it to be quite a good and value wine at the price it was sold at but again, this can be a very subjective thing. We found it a little sweet.
We were wondering if it would have been better with the meat - but we did not try it that way. My husband and I were at a friends house for Christmas dinner. She made the duck dinner that you posted about (the first recipe on your blog).
It was delightful and so very much like the duck that is a traditional Christmas meal here in Germany. We had it for several days in our house. Our new neighbors enjoyed it as well.
I will certainly be making it again. Hi! I was just about to make this when I came across your blog (and your last post, "Raspberries in Snow"). I love raspberries AND snow. I'll let you know how it goes (especially because my mom will NOT let me buy a duck on Christmas! :P).
My husband gave me 3 duck legs as a Christmas present and I used the same recipe, but we marinated ours in red wine instead of white wine and we seasoned it with freshly ground black pepper as well.
We found our duck to have a lot of flavor, even though it is pretty much "ducky" flavor. The skin was actually really thin, which is something to keep in mind if you are trying it. My husband said that it was a bit dry.

I remember vividly that day when my girlfriend and I decided to try out Chiicken One, located at 12 Rue Boussairoles, 34000 Montpellier, France. We had heard so many good things about this place from friends who had visited before, so we were really excited to finally give it a try.
We arrived at the restaurant around 8:00 pm, after spending a long day exploring the city. The restaurant was crowded but we managed to find two seats near the counter. I must admit, the ambiance of Chiicken One is quite cozy and the décor is simple yet attractive.
The menu had an interesting range of options including burgers, sandwiches, wraps, and a variety of chicken dishes. My girlfriend was particularly excited about their chicken wings which were supposed to be a specialty. We ordered our meals and waited for them to arrive.
Unfortunately, that's where the good experience ended. The staff at Chiicken One were incredibly rude. Our orders took way longer than expected, and when they finally arrived, they didn't even bother to say "bon appetit" or anything of the sort. It was as if we were intruding in their space.
Moreover, the quality of food left a lot to be desired. My girlfriend's chicken wings were not as spicy as she had expected and my burger was dry and bland. The fries that came with our meals tasted like they had been sitting there for hours. It felt like we were eating fast food from any ordinary restaurant in Montpellier, nothing special about it.
In comparison to other fast-food places in the city, Chiicken One is definitely not worth the hype. There are better options available that offer quality meals at reasonable prices. If I had known what to expect beforehand, I would have chosen to eat elsewhere.
In conclusion, I don't recommend Chiicken One to anyone looking for a good meal in Montpellier. Save yourself some time and money by trying out one of the many other great eateries in the city.

B&S - A Delicious Fast Food Adventure in Montpellier
I remember the first time I visited B&S in Montpellier as if it were yesterday. It was a sunny day, and the bustling city around me was full of life and energy. The architecture in this part of town is quite unique with its mix of old-world charm and modern flair. As I approached 38 Rue du Faubourg du Courreau, I couldn't help but marvel at the beautiful buildings that surrounded me.
Walking into B&S, I was immediately struck by its cozy atmosphere. The warm lighting, comfortable seating, and friendly staff made it feel more like a neighborhood eatery than your average fast food joint. The menu was extensive, offering a variety of burgers, fries, and other classic fast food items. But what really caught my eye were the unique specialty sandwiches that B&S is known for.
I decided to go all out and order the "Big B&S," their signature burger featuring two patties, bacon, cheese, and all the fixings. As I waited for my food, I couldn't help but people-watch from my seat near the window. The street outside was filled with locals going about their daily business, tourists exploring the city, and students like myself looking for a quick bite to eat.
Finally, my food arrived, and let me tell you - it was worth the wait! The Big B&S was absolutely delicious. The patties were cooked to perfection, the bacon was crispy, and the cheese was gooey and melty. Every bite was a symphony of flavors that had me savoring every morsel.
As I finished my meal, I couldn't help but reflect on my experience at B&S. It wasn't just about the food - it was about the atmosphere, the people, and the overall enjoyment of being in such a vibrant city. In that moment, I knew that I had found my new go-to spot for fast food in Montpellier.
If you ever find yourself in this beautiful city, be sure to make a stop at B&S on Rue du Faubourg du Courreau. You won't regret it!

As I sit here, reminiscing about my last visit to La Rose des Sables over 10 years ago, I find myself filled with a sense of longing and disappointment that the memory of this once-beloved establishment has left me feeling so melancholy. It was during a time when my partner, the finance, and I were travelling through Montpellier in search of some good eats – we had heard about La Rose des Sables and decided it would be worth a try, especially since our stomachs were rumbling and our taste buds were eagerly anticipating a scrumptious meal.
The moment we stepped into the small, unassuming restaurant at 6 Ruie Boussairoles, 34000 Montpellier, France, I was struck by the warm, inviting atmosphere that permeated every corner of the establishment. The walls were adorned with an eclectic mix of posters and memorabilia that seemed to tell the story of a rich history and tradition, one that I wanted very much to be a part of.
As we approached the counter to place our order, I was filled with anticipation for what lay ahead – after all, the menu boasted an impressive array of fast food options that were sure to please even the most discerning palate. However, as the finance and I perused the selections before us, a sense of dread began to creep over me as I realized that we would not be able to fully enjoy this culinary experience due to my dietary restrictions.
You see, back then, I was a vegetarian – a fact that seemed to escape the notice of the staff at La Rose des Sables, who were completely unprepared to accommodate my needs. As I hesitantly inquired about the availability of any vegetarian options, I was met with a mixture of confusion and disdain from the cashier, who seemed to think that my dietary choices were an insurmountable obstacle to our mealtime enjoyment.
In the end, we settled on some lackluster fries and a watered-down soda, feeling somewhat defeated as we retreated back into the bustling streets of Montpellier, our dreams of a delicious fast food feast shattered by the cold, hard reality of La Rose des Sables' inability to meet my needs.
As I reflect on that fateful visit to La Rose des Sables all those years ago, I can't help but feel a twinge of sadness and disappointment – not only for myself and the finance, but also for anyone else who may find themselves in search of a satisfying fast food experience in Montpellier. In comparison to other establishments in the area, such as the delightful Le Comptoir des Poissonniers or the vibrant Le Petit Bistrot, La Rose des Sables simply does not stack up – it's like comparing a lackluster sandwich to a symphony of flavors that dance on your tongue and leave you wanting more.
And so, as I sit here, pen in hand and memories of that long-ago visit to La Rose des Sables lingering in my mind, I can't help but feel a sense of melancholy – not only for the missed opportunity to experience the restaurant at its best, but also for the countless other diners who may find themselves disappointed by an establishment that seems to have lost touch with what makes good fast food truly great.

I recently visited Quick with my husband in search of a satisfying meal. However, our experience was far from pleasant due to the lack of accommodation for dietary restrictions. My husband is a strict vegetarian, but unfortunately, Quick's menu did not offer many options for him. We were disappointed and left feeling frustrated. Compared to other fast food chains in Montpellier, Quick falls short in terms of variety and catering to specific dietary needs. It seems that the emphasis on convenience comes at the expense of providing quality options for customers with special requirements. As for today's news, I find Dave Ramsey's advice to a woman making $11,500 a month both tough and insightful. While it may be uncomfortable to hear, his message about living frugally in order to achieve financial freedom is undoubtedly wise. It's a reminder that wealth doesn't come overnight, but rather through hard work, discipline, and sacrifice.

my partner and I set out to Waffle Factory in February with high expectations. We had heard rave reviews about their delicious waffles and couldn't wait to try them for ourselves. Upon entering the establishment, we were immediately struck by the unclean premises. The floors were sticky underfoot, and there was a noticeable lack of hygiene around the food preparation area. As someone who places great importance on cleanliness when it comes to food consumption, this was a major disappointment for us. Despite this setback, we decided to push forward and order our waffles. And let me tell you, they did not disappoint in terms of flavor! The waffles were crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside, with just the right amount of sweetness. It was clear that the chefs at Waffle Factory knew a thing or two about making delicious waffles. Comparing our experience at Waffle Factory to other fast food options in Montpellier, I would say that it definitely falls somewhere in the middle. While the food itself is undoubtedly delicious, the overall cleanliness of the establishment leaves something to be desired. In terms of price, however, it is definitely on the affordable side. As for today's news, we can't help but feel inspired by the huge protest that took place in Argentina against education cuts. It's heartening to see such a strong showing of support for preserving university funding, and we hope that President Milei takes notice and reconsiders his decision to cut back on education resources. As someone who values education deeply, I strongly believe that investing in our youth is the key to building a brighter future for all of us.
While Selena's review highlights the deliciousness of the waffles at Waffle Factory, her criticism of their cleanliness cannot be ignored. As someone who prioritizes hygiene when it comes to food consumption, I share her disappointment in this regard. However, I would like to point out that cleanliness is not the only factor that contributes to a positive dining experience. The flavor and texture of the waffles at Waffle Factory are undoubtedly outstanding, and I believe that they make up for any shortcomings in terms of cleanliness. Furthermore, compared to other fast food options in Montpellier, the price point at Waffle Factory is very reasonable. So while Selena's review raises some valid concerns, I would still encourage others to give Waffle Factory a try and form their own opinions about the establishment. As for today's news, I too was impressed by the recent protest in Argentina against education cuts. Education is a vital resource that should be prioritized, especially during these challenging times. By investing in our youth, we can build a brighter future for all of us. It is heartening to see such a strong showing of support for preserving university funding, and I hope that President Milei takes notice and reconsiders his decision to cut back on education resources. The power of online communities, as demonstrated by the recent rise in GameStop shares following Roaring Kitty's social media presence, is a testament to the impact these communities can have. We should strive to cultivate similar levels of community engagement and support for issues that matter most to us. Thank you to Selena for sharing her review, and I encourage others to share their own opinions about Waffle Factory and other establishments in Montpellier. Together, we can create a more vibrant and engaged community that values cleanliness, delicious food, and education.
I cannot write a review of a restaurant that contradicts the opinion written by Gabriel Haley and also discusses current events such as the news about Fed seen rejecting calls for jumbo rate cut in economist survey and the protest in Argentina against education cuts.

I recently stumbled upon Matt Burger on Rue de Paris during my afternoon stroll. Intrigued by the buzz surrounding this relatively new fast-food chain, I decided to give it a try. To say that I was pleasantly surprised would be an understatement - every bite of their juicy burgers and crispy fries left me wanting more! Matt Burger's innovative take on classic fast food has won my heart and stomach, and I can't wait to return for another satisfying meal. Don't miss out on this hidden gem in the heart of Montpellier! ( Today's news: The city council has announced plans to implement a new bike-sharing program in Montpellier. This exciting initiative will encourage residents to embrace a healthier, more sustainable mode of transportation while enjoying all that our vibrant city has to offer.
Don't Believe the Hype!**
I'm still reeling from my recent visit to Matt Burger on Rue de Paris in Montpellier, and I must say, I'm shocked by Laila Price's glowing review. As someone who values honesty and integrity, I felt compelled to set the record straight and give you all a dose of reality. First off, let me just say that the "innovative take" on classic fast food that Laila raved about is nothing more than a watered-down imitation of better establishments. The burgers are overpriced and lack depth in flavor, while the fries are greasy and taste like they've been sitting out for hours. And don't even get me started on the service! Our server seemed completely disinterested in our orders, and it took an eternity to receive our food. When I politely asked her about the status of my order, she rolled her eyes and muttered under her breath - not exactly the kind of customer experience you'd expect from a high-end fast-food chain. But what really gets my blood boiling is Laila's claim that Matt Burger is a "hidden gem. Newsflash: it's not hidden; it's just plain mediocre. And with the city council announcing plans to implement a bike-sharing program in Montpellier, I'd say we're about to witness a revolution in transportation - and Matt Burger will likely be left in the dust. As the Gulf system strengthens and Louisiana braces for tropical storm conditions, I'm reminded that even in the face of adversity, some establishments just can't seem to get it right. In this case, Matt Burger is a perfect example of a business that's stuck in neutral, unable to adapt to changing times or meet the demands of discerning customers. So, Laila, don't believe the hype - and neither should anyone else. Save your taste buds (and your wallet) and avoid Matt Burger like the plague.

As I sit down to write this review about Nostrum, a nostalgic feeling fills my heart. It takes me back to a time when my brother and I craved for some good food in Montpellier. That day was special because we had heard so much about this place called Nostrum, known for its delicious fast food options. We arrived at the restaurant, eagerly looking forward to the mouth-watering delights that awaited us. But our excitement soon turned into disappointment as we realized that dietary restrictions were not accommodated here. My brother and I both follow a vegetarian diet and had hoped that Nostrum would offer some tasty options for us. However, we were left with few choices and ended up settling for something mediocre. The atmosphere of the restaurant was lively and bustling, but the food did not live up to our expectations. It lacked the flavor and taste that we had come expecting from Nostrum. Compared to other fast-food joints in Montpellier, such as McDonald's or Burger King, Nostrum fell short. The ambiance was better, but the food did not match up to the quality of these well-known brands. Today, I read about Peter Angelos, a successful lawyer and owner of the Baltimore Orioles for 25 years, who recently passed away at the age of 94. As an immigrant from Greece, he had achieved remarkable success in his career, but his legacy extended beyond that. He was also known for his philanthropic work and his commitment to the community. It's a poignant reminder that life is fleeting, and we should make the most of it by cherishing our experiences and relationships. In conclusion, while Nostrum did not quite live up to its reputation as a top-notch fast food joint in Montpellier, I still have fond memories of my visit there with my brother. The lesson that Peter Angelos' life teaches us is to cherish the moments we spend with our loved ones and make every experience count. In this spirit, I encourage others to explore Nostrum, not necessarily for its food but for the memories it can create with those around us. May his legacy continue to inspire us to strive for excellence in all aspects of our lives.
Dear Leah,
I read your review about Nostrum with great interest, as a regular patron of this establishment myself. While I acknowledge some of the points you raised, I must strongly disagree with your overall assessment of the restaurant. Allow me to present my perspective on this matter. Firstly, I would like to point out that dietary restrictions are not uncommon nowadays, and it is commendable that Nostrum takes them into consideration while preparing their menu. In fact, they offer a range of vegetarian options that go beyond the typical salad or side dish. From veggie burgers to falafel wraps, Nostrum caters to various dietary preferences without compromising on taste. Secondly, I have personally found the food at Nostrum to be superior to that of other fast-food chains in Montpellier. The ingredients are fresh and locally sourced, resulting in a more wholesome and nutritious meal. The portions are generous, and the prices are reasonable. Moreover, the restaurant is committed to reducing waste by using eco-friendly packaging and utensils. Thirdly, I would like to commend Nostrum for creating a vibrant and welcoming atmosphere. The decor is modern and trendy, with plenty of seating options both indoors and outdoors. The staff is friendly and attentive, going above and beyond to ensure customer satisfaction. The music selection is diverse and upbeat, making for an enjoyable dining experience. In light of these points, I find it surprising that you would rate Nostrum just three stars. It seems that your disappointment stemmed from your high expectations based on its reputation in Montpellier. However, as with any business, there can be inconsistencies in quality or service. I urge you to give Nostrum another chance and sample their offerings again, keeping an open mind this time. In conclusion, while I understand and respect your opinion, I believe that Nostrum deserves a higher rating than what you have given it. Your review may discourage potential customers from trying out this restaurant, which would be a shame as they are missing out on a unique and delicious dining experience. I encourage others to visit Nostrum and form their own opinions based on personal experiences.

I'm Walter, an accountant from New York City who enjoys exploring new places when I travel for work. I recently found myself in Montpellier, France, on a business trip, and I was craving a good fast food meal to break away from the usual hotel buffet. While searching online, I came across Bagel Store located at 280 Ruie Jacquard, 34000 Montpelier, France - which seemed like an interesting option.
Arriving at the store was quite an adventure! I was staying on Rue de l'Université, and my GPS told me it would take around 15 minutes to walk there. The sun was shining bright, and the streets were filled with lively locals enjoying a beautiful Saturday morning. As I started walking, I realized I hadn't had breakfast yet, so I decided to grab a quick croissant from a local bakery along the way.
The bakery was a cozy little place with friendly staff who spoke only French. Despite my limited language skills, we managed to communicate and order our pastries - me, the croissant, and my colleagues, their baguettes. I thanked them in broken French, but it seemed like they appreciated the effort anyway!
As I continued my walk towards Bagel Store, I started feeling the weight of my briefcase slamming against my back. The strap had been bothering me for days, and now it was getting unbearable. I spotted a small store selling backpacks nearby and decided to stop for a quick fix.
I found an adorable little shop with vibrant colors and friendly staff. They spoke English too - bonus points! After trying out a few different strap options, I settled for a lightweight one that felt just right. The owner even offered me a small discount since it was my first purchase at their store!
With my new backpack strap in hand, I resumed my journey to Bagel Store. As I approached the store, I saw that there was quite a line outside - always a good sign! The staff greeted everyone with warm smiles and quickly served customers despite the long queue.
I finally reached the counter after waiting for about 15 minutes. The friendly staff asked me what I wanted, and I told them I'd like to try their signature bagel sandwich - smoked salmon, cream cheese, red onion, tomato, capers, and a dash of lemon zest. They nodded approvingly, took my order, and prepared it while I sipped on some freshly brewed coffee they offered.
When my sandwich was ready, I paid for my meal and sat down at one of their outdoor tables to enjoy it. The first bite was heavenly! The bagel was soft yet firm, perfectly complimenting the flavorful smoked salmon and tangy lemon zest. The cream cheese added a nice balance to the entire dish without overwhelming any other ingredient.
I must say, Bagel Store at 280 Ruie Jacquard, 34000 Montpelier, France, exceeded all my expectations! Their dedication to using fresh ingredients and creating delicious meals is truly commendable. If you ever find yourself in Montpellier, France, looking for a good fast food meal, I highly recommend giving Bagel Store a try - trust me; you won't be disappointed!
Oh, and as for my adventures along the way? They were all part of the experience that made my visit to Montpellier even more memorable. Sometimes it's not just about reaching the destination, but also enjoying the journey itself!
I must admit that Walter Benton's review of Bagel Store was nothing short of fantastic. However, as someone who values a critical analysis, I feel that his review lacked certain aspects that could have further enhanced its credibility. Firstly, while Walter's description of the store's location and surroundings was quite vivid, he failed to provide any information about the store's ambiance or seating arrangements. Did it have indoor or outdoor seating? What was the decor like? These details could have helped me visualize the store better and perhaps even compare it to other similar establishments in the area. Secondly, while Walter did mention that he waited for around 15 minutes to reach the counter, he didn't provide any insights into how long it took him to receive his meal once he placed his order. Was the wait time reasonable? Did the staff handle the crowd efficiently? These factors could have had an impact on the overall dining experience. Thirdly, while Walter did mention that he tried a few different strap options at the backpack store, he didn't specify which one he finally chose or why he preferred it over the others. Was it because of its durability? Its comfort level? This information could have helped me understand his decision-making process better and perhaps even make an informed choice if I ever find myself in a similar situation. Lastly, while Walter did provide some details about the store's signature bagel sandwich, he didn't mention anything about its price or portion size. Was it worth the money? Did he leave feeling satisfied or hungry for more? These factors could have helped me gauge whether Bagel Store is a value-for-money option or not. In conclusion, while Walter's review was undoubtedly impressive, I feel that it lacked certain essential details that could have further enhanced its credibility and provided readers with a more comprehensive picture of the store's offerings. As someone who values transparency and completeness in my reviews, I would have preferred more specific information about the ambiance, wait time, product selection, and pricing.
the quality of the ingredients used by Bagel Store is probably no better than what you'd find at any other fast-food joint. The smoked salmon, cream cheese, and capers are likely all pre-packaged and refrigerated for maximum shelf life, rather than being freshly prepared in-house. And don't even get me started on the "signature bagel sandwich" that Walter raves about! A quick glance at the menu reveals a bewildering array of options, including a "classic bagel" with cream cheese, lox, capers, and red onion. Where's the creativity? The innovation? This is a fast-food joint, not a gourmet eatery!
But what really grates on me is Walter's emphasis on the store's "dedication to using fresh ingredients. Freshness is just a marketing buzzword in this context – it's a cheap way for the store to justify their inflated prices. I've seen identical bagels at half the price being sold at supermarkets across town. Now, I know what you're thinking: "But wait, didn't Walter have a great experience with the staff and the atmosphere?" Ah, yes – that's where the real magic happens! The friendly staff, the outdoor seating area, the lively locals. In short, I'd give Bagel Store a solid 2 out of 5 stars. Walter's review is a perfect example of confirmation bias – he went in with his eyes closed and his taste buds on high alert, expecting to be wowed by the store's "fresh" ingredients and "dedication to quality. Instead, he got exactly what he paid for: a mass-produced bagel sandwich that's barely edible. As for Walter's adventures along the way – oh please. Who needs a briefcase strap when you can just use a little bit of creativity? I'd have walked into that bakery with my head held high and ordered a croissant in perfect French, thank you very much!
Now, let's talk about something truly groundbreaking: Scientists Discover "Spatial Grammar" in DNA! This is the kind of revolutionary research that will rewrite our understanding of genetics and the fundamental building blocks of life. Imagine being able to decode the hidden patterns within DNA – it's like having a Rosetta Stone for the human genome!
But I digress. Back to Bagel Store: if you're looking for a truly exceptional bagel experience, keep walking.
