Almost every American citizen like shopping, watching videos, chatting online or playing video games. So to say that McDonalds is better than Burger King is like saying the best TV shows are American Idol or the NFL Football (NFL) is better than the NBA Football. In some countries, especially US and Canada especially in its cities in the suburbs, people choose Burger King (or McDonalds) for their meal.
This attitude is not because food are more authentic in McDonald's than any other restaurant, but because these places also have a better menu with more healthy foods. In fact, a lot of the restaurant reviews and reviews can refer to "Good Value", "Good Quality" or "Great Value" while other reviewers have described "Unacceptable quality" of menu items.
And there can be some cases of rude or bad taste of food by some customers. So while Burger King (or McDonalds) can be better than McDonald's if we consider both the quality of products and the customer service of these restaurants in their respective cities (and in our opinion, the Burger King is better than McDonalds). But that's not the main objective.
I'm not trying to claim anything as I'm not a food expert. But if you're looking for a good value and decent quality restaurant, I recommend McDonald's for your visit.

However, as we approached the counter, we were met with a rude and dismissive employee who seemed more interested in texting than serving customers.
Disappointed by the lackluster service, my sister and I placed our orders: two Big Macs and a large fries for me, and a cheeseburger Happy Meal for her. The woman behind the counter mumbled something about "being out of pickles" before finally taking our order with an air of indifference. We paid and took our food to go, hoping that it would make up for the lackluster experience we'd just had.
As we walked back to the car, I couldn't help but feel a sense of melancholy wash over me. This wasn't how I remembered McDonald's; it was supposed to be a place where memories were made and smiles were plentiful. Instead, we had been greeted with rudeness and disinterest. It made me wonder if this was the norm for fast food restaurants in San Antonio or if our experience was an isolated incident.
